The changes that have occurred regarding the services provided by the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) Division of the Department of Labor are as follows:
Official Media Notice: Wednesday Holidays and Service Adjustments
Effective Date: Starting from March 18, 2026, all Wednesdays have been declared as government holidays until further notice.
Rescheduling Protocol: Members who have already reserved time slots for services on Wednesdays are permitted to visit the relevant office during the succeeding 4 working days (Thursday, Friday, Monday, or Tuesday) to obtain their services.
Affected Services
This arrangement applies to members seeking the following services from the Employee Provident Fund division:
Obtaining EPF benefits.
Obtaining 30% benefits.
Obtaining benefits for deceased members.
AH Registration.
This directive was issued by the Commissioner General of Labour (Admin).
